Coaching

Coaching Doesn't Always Work

A client slumped after being pounded by bad audits and ineffective direct reports.  She could take her licks and leave with a sense of failure or take on the challenge.  Her transformation was not easy, but she succeeded.
She was willing, motivated, and open. We helped her overcome defensiveness and worked with her to see her strengths.
Another client knew their limitations but didn’t want to address the complex challenge of action and doing something differently. They could either accept and enjoy what is or be uncomfortable with their situation.

The choice is always up to you.
Not all coaching results in transformational change, and even may not produce great results. We know that. Sometimes, a person is just in the wrong position, too defensive, or not open to input. Fortunately, when most people engage us as their coaches, they benefit and grow.

Here are a few of our coaching options

Executive

We empower leaders to unlock their full potential. We guide executives through self-discovery and strategic growth to drive impactful, lasting success. Example: A CEO faced declining team morale. Through executive coaching, she redefined her leadership style, improved communication and trust, and led to a 20% boost in employee engagement.

Emotional Intelligence

We help individuals enhance their emotional awareness and interpersonal effectiveness, fostering deeper connections and better decision-making. Example: A mid-level manager struggled with conflict resolution. Emotional intelligence coaching helped him understand and manage his emotions, resulting in more productive conversations and improved team dynamics

Positive Intelligence

Through Positive Intelligence, we enable clients to conquer self-sabotaging habits and cultivate mental fitness for resilient, purposeful leadership. Example: A startup founder was constantly overwhelmed by stress. After Positive Intelligence coaching, he learned to quiet his inner critic, fostering mental clarity and a healthier work-life balance.

Adaptability Intelligence

Our coaching hones the ability to navigate and thrive amidst constant change, fostering agility and innovative problem-solving. Example: A sales director at a tech company faced rapid industry changes. Adaptability Intelligence coaching helped her pivot strategies quickly and maintain strong market positioning despite shifts in consumer demand.

New Manager

We equip managers with the skills to inspire, engage, and lead their teams with confidence and empathy, transforming potential into performance. Example: A first-time manager struggled to gain respect from her team. Manager coaching gave her tools to inspire and guide her team effectively, improving performance and team satisfaction.

Team Manager

This coaching strengthens team leadership capacity, enhancing collaboration, trust, and a shared vision for success. Example: A nonprofit organization experienced silos between departments. Team leadership development sessions brought managers together, creating a cohesive leadership team and aligning efforts toward shared goals.

Leadership Development

We support professionals through pivotal career shifts by helping them clarify their direction, leverage their strengths, and confidently embrace new opportunities. Example: A finance executive seeking a career change felt unsure of her next steps. Career transition coaching helped her identify her transferable skills and successfully pivot into a role in tech, reigniting her passion for her work.

We Offer Coaching to Fit Your Needs

We tailor our approach based on your needs, history of leadership development, past coaching experiences, and current circumstances. We ensure your skills align with those needed to achieve organizational or corporate objectives. We work within your schedule.

Sample Coaching Situation:
A manufacturing company approached us to coach their newly promoted operations director, Susan. Although Susan was technically skilled, her leadership transition had been challenging. She struggled with delegation and managing a larger, more diverse team, leading to inefficiencies and decreased team morale.

Tailored Approach:
After an initial assessment of Susan’s leadership development history and past experiences with mentorship, we customized a coaching plan that focused on improving her delegation skills, emotional intelligence, and team communication. Given her heavy workload, we structured bi-weekly 60-minute sessions over six months, balancing her time demands while ensuring steady progress.

Alignment with Organizational Objectives:
We collaborated with her senior leadership team to identify specific outcomes they needed—greater team productivity, more streamlined communication, and Susan’s ability to lead without micromanaging. We integrated these objectives into her coaching program, ensuring her skills aligned with the company’s goals.

Outcome:
Within three months, Susan’s ability to delegate had improved, allowing her team to work more autonomously. Team morale rose as she became more approachable and better at managing diverse personalities. By the end of the coaching package, Susan was seen as a capable leader, driving team success in line with the company’s strategic goals.

This scenario showcases how our coaching process adapts to your needs while staying mindful of time constraints and aligning with organizational objectives.
